Federal Politics: Abbotsford’s David Murray Tops Social Media Rankings

Abbotsford NDP candidate David Murray is now the top social media ranked non-MP among Canadian federal candidates.The rankings come from the polittwitter website which keeps track of all candidates across the country and across party lines and ranks them according to their Internet presence based on their Twitter, Facebook, blog and other social media activities.
Murray has a popularity score of 1,306 putting him in first place ahead of Green Party leader Elizabeth May who has a score of 1,269. The third place candidate is Jennifer Pollack of Calgary with a score of 487. Murray regularly publishes the results on his political blog and has been consistently near the top of the rankings for several months.
Murray has been working non-stop in his Abbotsford riding for over a year, knocking on doors, meeting with individuals and organizations and writes a regular column for the Today Media websites.
