Harper tried to seize power after coming 2nd to Martin's Lib's in 2004

Stephen Harper clearly tried to seize power after coming second to Paul Martin's Liberals in 2004, Bloc Québécois Leader Gilles Duceppe said Saturday at the start of Canada's 41st federal election campaign.
Harper has been held in contempt of Parliment. This finding occurred for the first time in the history of our country. I think we should all spend a moment to think about what this means.
Harper and his party have been found guilty of refusing to honour the legitimate requests of our elected representatives. Our MP's were voted in to serve you and me and everyone else; they cannot do their job if the PMO witholds essential information. Harper has purposefully stymied the people we all elected.

If Canadians care about democracy and our Canadian institutions, then I hope all will think carefully about the significance of a PMO's office who says they will be "transparent, open and accountable" but in reality are opaque, closed and irresponsible.

Mr. Harper is a master at double speak. It is well known that he tried to set up a coalition arrangement with the NDP and Bloc in 2004.

Furthermore, he says that Canadians don't care about parliamentary motions and findings. This is an arrogance of an unfathomable depth and clearly demonstrates why his government was found in contempt and defeated in no
n-confidence.

Mr. Harper you do not speak for me and never will be able to speak for my democratric principles.
