BC NDP TO HOST FEDERAL NDP LEADERSHIP CANDIDATES TOWN HALL
The BC NDP announced today that a Federal NDP Leadership town hall will take place at their 50th Anniversary Convention in December.
“BC New Democrats are looking forward to hosting the first town hall of the Federal NDP Leadership race at our convention in December,” said Jan O’Brien, Provincial Secretary of the BC NDP. “Delegates will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our party, and we’re delighted that the next leader of Canada’s NDP can be a part of that.”
The Federal NDP Leadership town hall will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre on the afternoon of Saturday, December 10. The event will be open to convention delegates and members of the public. All Federal NDP Leadership candidates are expected to attend.
“The Federal NDP Leadership race is about electing the next prime minister, and I know that BC New Democrats are looking forward to being a part of this historic leadership contest,” concluded O’Brien.
