LUNAR NEW YEAR GREETINGS FROM NEW DEMOCRAT LEADER ADRIAN DIX

VANCOUVER – New Democrat Leader Adrian Dix issued the following statement celebrating the start of the Year of the Dragon.
“On behalf of the New Democrat Caucus, I want to wish British Columbians Kung Hei Fat Choi as we enter the Year of the Dragon.

“Based on the attributes associated with the dragon - energy and positive change - the next twelve months promises to be a dynamic time.

“Lunar New Year is now one of B.C.’s most celebrated occasions, a testament to how we are a richer province thanks to the contributions of Chinese- Canadians, and other Asian-Canadian communities.

“The caucus looks forward to partaking in the many festivities associated with the transition from winter to spring this week. On a personal note, this Lunar New Year carries an additional significance for me, as I was born in the Year of the Dragon. “
